
Nakisha Sadeghi
Nakisa Sadeghi was a 2020 Research Fellow at SHSF. Nakisa is also a Visiting Scholar at the George Washington University School of Public Health. Currently pursuing a fellowship in health policy, she is a third-year medical student at the University of North Carolina, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in French and Francophone Studies as a Morehead-Cain Scholar. Previously, Nakisa served as the Special Assistant to the President of Planned Parenthood and volunteered in Bolivia to reduce youth intimate partner violence. With a lifelong passion for serving underserved communities, Nakisa has worked extensively as a Certified Medical Interpreter and clinical volunteer to provide care to immigrant children and families.
